The Faculty Board of Divinity consists of 24 senior members and three student representatives as follows: a ii) Divinity ProfessorsThe holders of the named chairs sit in this class ex officio. The number is brought up to five by election from and by the Professors for a two-year tenure ending 31 December of even years. Casual vacancies filled by the same process to the end of the current two-year period.
b) Council nomineesThe Council nominates two members (from lists of three candidates submitted by the Faculty Board) to sit for two calendar years.
c) Elected membersTwo members are elected each year at the AGM to serve for the following four calendar years. To Dec. 2010:

d) Co-opted membersSix members are co-opted annually by the Faculty Board to serve for the following calendar year. As part of the understanding between the Divinity Faculty and the Cambridge Theological Federation, two of the six are nominated by the Federation (indicated by asterisk).
e) Director of Carts and representatives of cognate studiesThe Director of CARTS is a member ex officio. Two representatives of cognate studies (Hebrew and Ecclesiastical History) are appointed every two years for the following two years.
f) Student representativesTwo undergraduates and one graduate student are elected each year in December to serve for the following calendar year.

Harland Committee for Personal PromotionsThis committee must consist of no fewer than five and not more than nine members (all either professors or of professorial standing), and its composition must be determined by the Faculty Board each year by early October. The General Board nominates one external member; the Faculty Board’s usual practice is to nominate five members, but owing to a shortage of eligible professors to serve in 2007, only four FB nominees are proposed this year. Standing Committee
Safety CommitteeThis consists of the Chairman of the Faculty Board (chair), Faculty Administrator (secretary), Academic Secretary, Librarian, Computer Officer, Office Manager, and Custodians.
Finance CommitteeThe Chairman and Academic Secretary of the Faculty Board, the Faculty Administrator and the Accounts Manager sit on this committee ex officio.
Teaching CommitteeThe Academic Secretary of the Faculty Board and the Librarian (as Chair of the Learning Resources Committee) sit on this committee ex officio; as do the student representatives on the Faculty Board. It is considered important that a CTO should be a member.

Fundraising and Development CommitteeThis consists of the Chairman, Academic Secretary, Director of CARTS, Faculty Administrator, with two further professorial members.
MPhil CommitteeThis consists of the Director of the MPhil and the section directors for the academic year.
BTh & CTM CommitteeThree members are nominated by the Faculty Board, and three members by the Cambridge Theological Federation. The chair is always one of the Faculty nominees. There are two Federation student representatives, and the Federation Officer sits ex officio as Administrator. a i) Chair:

Access and Outreach Working GroupThe Access and Outreach Working Group is not a committee of the Faculty Board, but was established by the Directors of Studies to foster and co-ordinate access activities, and is supported by the Faculty Board, to which it sends its minutes.
