(A5), Philosophy of Religion and Ethics (A8), Study of Theology I (B8), Study of Theology II (C5), and Political Thought and the Christian Tradition (D2f). For the Cambridge BTh degree, he lectures for the following classes: The Christian God (BTh 7), Public Theology (BTh 25), and Judaism, Christianity and Islam in Encounter (BTh23). Research interests, publications and other activitiesJeffrey Bailey's particular areas of interest include the relationship between theological reasoning, politics and inter-faith relations. He is a consultant with the Cambridge Inter-Faith Programme on Jewish, Christian, and Muslim relations, and has worked with the Clinton Global Initiative on religious conflict. He is also the Hon Secretary of the Society for the Study of Christian Ethics (UK). Previous to coming to Cambridge he studied at Duke University in the United States. He is currently at work on a Reader in Contemporary Political Theology (co-edited with William T. Cavanaugh and Craig Hovey), to be published by Eerdmans, as well as a new book for Continuum entitled Interfaith Relations: A Guide for the Perplexed. He recently co-edited a special issue on religion and international relations for the Cambridge Review of International Affairs, and his writing has also appeared in Modern Theology, Studies in Christian Ethics and the Christian Century magazine.
